Anti-Fragmentation Coating
These AR600 plates use a polyurea anti-spall coating to help contain fragments and keep debris from exiting the carrier. The same layer protects the steel from wear and the elements, improving durability over time. Important note: spall mitigation reduces risk, but it doesn’t eliminate it in every scenario.

AR600 Level 3+ Steel Body Armor
These AR600 steel plates are rugged, multi-hit–capable ballistic plates made from hardened AR600 steel. They include a sprayed polyurea anti-spall build-up coating and come in common cuts to fit most carriers. Durable and budget-friendly, they’re heavier than ceramic but built to take abuse for training or duty use.
